Hainanese Chicken Rice

Is Hainanese Chicken Rice Singapore's national hawker dish? It might as well be, for we love it so. Our chicken rice set includes rice, cucumber slices (cut long), poached chicken breast slices, dark soya sauce and chilli sauce. The seasoned rice often makes or breaks the dish, and we have taken care to make it a different colour from the rice in our Nasi Lemak set, and the chilli sauce is a different colour from the sambal too. Chicken drumstick and red plate are optional add-ons.
